In late
2005, the CDR hardware configuration was modified to separate the
stager system from the two Linux
disk servers. A new machine stagecdr now
manages all public cdr transfers and this machine is referenced in
the client CDR scripts.
The CDR stage pools
remain much the same with each server
hosting 20 120GB disks which are mirrored with a 3ware RAID card to generate
10 filesystems. The filesystems are grouped into pools as shown in
the table below. Reserved represents unused file systems which can
be allocated to existing pools when the need for
additional space arises.
